Concurso : using multimedia for storytelling

 
Promoting creative interpretations of intangible heritage through the use of interactive multimedia tools and digital storytelling technologies, and creating a better understanding of each other's heritage are the objectives of the “Nabi Digital Storytelling Competition of Intangible Heritage” that was recently launched.

The competition seeks to encourage young practitioners in various fields of digital creation to reflect on the theme of intangible heritage. It will award outstanding multimedia productions, including websites with prizes ranging from US$ 5000 (first prize) to US$3,000 (third prize) to US$2000 (third prize).

The competition that is organized on the occasion of the 21st General Assembly of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) (2-8 October 2004, Seoul, Republic of Korea), is coordinated by the Art Center Nabi in Seoul, Republic of Korea, with the support of ICOM, AVICOM, the Korean National Commission for UNESCO (KNCU), and UNESCO within the framework of its UNESCO DigiArts Portal. ....MAIS
